He is currently at work on Oklahoma's Most Notorious Cases, scheduled for publication in 2013-14 by the University of Oklahoma Press. His fiction includes the novel, Don't Never Shoot Short and the original screenplay for the movie Cockfight starring Wilfred Brimley.
