Annette T. Burns, JD

Annette Burns, JD has been a Family Law Specialist certified by the State Bar of Arizona since 1994 and has practice law in Arizona since 1984. She served as a Judge pro tem in Maricopa County Superior Court from 1992-2005. Ms Burns was a member of the Executive Council of the Family Law Section of the State Bar of Arizona from 1994-2007, and was Chairperson of the Family Law Section of the State Bar of Arizona in 1999-2000. She is currently a Board Member of the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts (AFCC), an international organization of family court, legal and mental health professionals and is also on the Board of Directors of the Arizona Chapter of AFCC and a past President of the Arizona Chapter of AFCC. Ms. Burns has been a fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers (AAML) since 2001. She has maintained a Parenting Coordinator practice, along with her representation of clients, since 2002, and frequently serves as mediator, Special Master, and arbitrator in family law matters. She served on the Arizona Supreme Court Committee in Rules of Procedure in Domestic Relations Cases for the duration of that Committee (July, 2003 through October, 2005). And on the Supreme Court Family Law Rules Review Committee (2005-2007) and is a member of the Family Law Practice and Procedure Committee of the State Bar of Arizona. She is a co-author of the Arizona Family Law Rules Handbook for Thompson/West publishers. She lectures frequently for the State Bar of Arizona and the AAML.

Edith Croxon, JD

Edith Croxen has been practicing law in Tucson, Arizona for over thirty-one years and has some modest computer skills (for her age). She has served as a Judge pro tem in Pima County, Arizona for five years and more interestingly, was the Executive Director of the State Commission on Judicial Conduct for four years. She has been an advocate for children in juvenile court actions her entire career, including seven years with the State Attorney Generals office representing Child Protective Services. She divides her practice between juvenile court and domestic relations court and has served on many community boards which deal with Childrens issues, including the Southern Arizona Childrens Advocacy Center, Tucsons Casa De Los Ninos Crisis Center and the Arizona Chapter of the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts. She was a member of the Arizona Supreme Court Committee on the Revision of Arizonas Parenting Plans which recently issued the plans after approval by the Court.
