Character, Value and Change Presented by Scott Driscoll This session is about character and value, and how value can be used as a predictor of how characters will behave under pressure. Every main character comes into a story with a deeply held value, or set of values. The character's relationship to that value will either turn positive or negative, but the value remains constant. In this session you will learn how to use value to make your characters more consistent, how to use value to make characters more authentic and worthy of empathy, and how to use value to enhance the writer's ability to achieve a true reversal for your characters.
