Steve Jobs
VW TAPES was honored to be the official recording vendor for Macworld and
the Apple Worldwide Developers Conferences from 1996–2000. We witnessed the
near death and rise of Apple and the return of Steve Jobs as the creative
and marketing genius who changed everything and turned the company into the
powerhouse that it is today. We were as thrilled to be there as the Mac faithful were, and there was no
place on earth more exciting than these conferences, as we got to witness
and be part of the digital revolution that has changed the world — in so
many great ways. VW TAPES owes much of its own success to our collaboration with MacWorld
and Apple and we are forever grateful for our association with Steve Jobs,
Apple, MacWorld and all of the wonderful dreamers and schemers that took us
all for a great ride into the future. We hope you enjoy these glimpses into the mind of the genius and his pals
who made cool things for all of us — things that make our lives a lot more
fun — and productive. May he rest in peace. Keep dreaming.
