Katherine Nintzel is an editor with William Morrow and works with a broad range of fiction and nonfiction. She is looking for literary fiction and fiction that straddles the line between literary and commercial; speculative fiction and fantasy; and narrative nonfiction, including memoir. In addition to Morrow and Eos hardcovers, she also does a number of trade paperback originals and trade paperback "reinventions". Recent and upcoming titles include Laura Kasischke's In a Perfect World; Christina Baker Kline's Bird in Hand; Diane Hammond's Indie Bound Notable Hannah's Dream; Jessica Anya Blau's coming-of-age debut The Summer of Naked Swim Parties; Hallie Ephron's solo debut Never Tell a Lie; The New York Times bestselling Sharing Knife series by Lois McMaster Bujold; and Margaret Ronald's Evie Scelan urban fantasy series.

Jennifer Pooley is a senior editor with William Morrow. Drawn in particular to voice driven literary fiction and memoir, she especially loves narratives that allow the reader to experience the human condition through a distinctly new prism. She is very interested in expanding her list of upmarket women's commercial fiction with novelists who embrace high concepts (historical, magical, dystopian, supernatural), who explore women's friendships/life issues, or who create page-turning armchair experiences featuring unexpected romance, or fish-out-of-water adventure. She also pursues a wide range of narrative nonfiction (biography, history, newsworthy, pop culture, women's issues) and she seeks out gift titles for special markets driven distribution. Critically acclaimed and bestselling authors with whom she works include novelists Sarah Hall, John Searles, and Willy Vlautin, historian Daniel James Brown, broadcaster Sara James, and wildlife filmmaker Ginger Mauney. Jennifer's favorite editorial experience was discovering Marjorie Hart's Summer at Tiffany at the 2006 SDSU conference on the memoir's first ten pages alone, and she always welcomes both authors and fictional characters (such as 2009 Indie Next pick The Leisure Seeker's) in their golden years.
