While biomedicine has made significant mental health progress in recent years, there remains a need for attention toward the humanistic aspect of mental health care: the caring component. The panel will describe collaboration between NAMI and a psychiatric hospital using the NAMI Provider Training program. Learn about the training program and an unanticipated consequence of the collaboration: the mutual benefits experienced by presenters and the audience.
