Robert Dugoni's debut novel, The Jury Master became a New York Times bestseller and was chosen by Deadly Pleasures Mystery Magazine as one of three "Best of the Best" debut novels of 2006. The Seattle Times and Library Journal likened Dugoni to a young John Grisham, calling The Jury Master, "A riveting tale of murder, skullduggery and treachery at the highest level." His second novel, Damage Control, reached number eight on national independent bookseller's lists. His highly anticipated sequel to The Jury Master, Wrongful Death, has brought critical acclaim for the novel and the author. Mysterious Reviews touted Wrongful Death as "among the best books to be published this year," and Booklist wrote, "Mixing the suspense of a Grisham legal thriller with the political angle of a Baldacci. Dugoni is knocking on the A-list thriller door." The third novel in the series, Bodily Harm, will be published by Simon & Schuster in May 2010. He is also the author of the nonfiction expose, The Cyanide Canary, a Washington Post 2004 "Best Book of the Year." He will present the keynote, "Step up to the Plate and Swing for the Fences," and two workshops, "Techniques to Bring Your Novel Writing to LIfe," and "Power Editing."
